Toyota 1UZ auto bell housing to R154 Manual transmissions adapter with bolting hardware (Does not include release bearing assy.)
Looking to abuse that 1UZ or just want a stronger trans then a W58, this R154 adapter will help with that.
Starting with an 1 1/2" thick blank of 6061 T6, we CNC carve it out to clear the front side of the transmission while leaving in a substantial web for mounting hydraulic release bearings and maintaining the full diameter bellhousing locator. We've also machined it for the stock R154 trans dowels for the best alignment possible to the transmission and provide all the bolts required to get the adapter and bellhousing together.
We've designed this adapter to work with several hydraulic release bearings including the GM retrofit stud mount style like the RAM # 78100 pictured. Other stud mount types can be set up the same way with no extra adapters required. Dont want an aftermarket stud mount mount? We offer two other styles of billet mounts including our full billet RAM type mount and the Universal mount which accepts a Comaro type OEM release bearing ('04 Comaro).
This adapter is to thick for the R150 transmissions common to most Toyota trucks and SUV's where the input shaft length is approximately 6-1/4" from the transmission face to the tip of the pilot bearing.
